The naysayers are wrong. Yeah, you may not win a Grammy for the most polished performance, but that's not what makes your music great. What makes your music stand out is the emotion and feeling you convey while you're singing. There's a sincerity and slightly raw edge that's missing from a lot of the so-called pro's.
